留学感悟－美国迪斯尼实习项目
 I work in Landscape of Flavors as Food&Beverage in Disney Art of Animation Resort in Orlando. Disney Art of Animation Resort is a resort within Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The resort is designed “with families in mind.” It features four of  Disney  popular character themes: Cars, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. And the Landscape of Flavors is a food court selling American cuisine and deli style market items.
    I work in Landscape of Flavors as Food&Beverage. There are a lot of positions that I have to do every day. Such as burger filler, salad filler, pizza&pasta, cooler, bakery, dining room, register and so on. And every day’s work are not the same for that you are not get bored with the work and be fair to everybody.
    Usually, our company does not allow employee to work over 40 hours per week, because they have to pay much more money, so they only allow us to work 4-6 days per week. However, I can’t choose whenever I want to work. But I can give away my shift or pick up others shift. Usually, I work for about 32 hours per week.
    There are more than 60 countries students participate in the Disney program. So my coworkers are not only from America but also from Korea, Japan, Thailand, Spanish, Russia, Clonmbia, Dominican, Jordan, Turkey and so on. Therefore, except for America culture, I also learned  some tradition customs from other countries. However, I found that it was hard to make intimate friends with other countries’ people. People who are from the same country always talking to each other rather than to other countries’ people include me. I think the reason for that is we can talk easily with fellow countrymen. However, I am trying to get over it. Learn much more about many countries’ custom and get along well with co-workers from different countries. And don’t being afraid to ask for help when you have questions, there are lots of nice people willing to help you.

    My favorite position is bakery. Because I can make candy, Mickey cake and many kinds of cakes. They look really nice! When I doing beast and dinning room. There will be lots of guests ask me to help them for the dinning plan details or the places of stuff. I feel really happy when I have helped them. In the happiest place in the World, I get used to be happy. I am happy to smile to everyone I have met, and I get lots of smile back as well.
